Job Purpose

Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities

The Area Industry Product Line Manager's responsibilities are to lead the IND teams in North & West Africa (geographical area covers Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Côte D’ivoire, Burkina Faso, Togo, Liberia, Guinea, Ghana, Senegal, Congo, Cameroon and Nigeria) to deliver the overall strategy and the profit and loss of the BV Industry portfolio, which includes Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities and Industrial Product Certification.

Responsibilities


* Set up and implement IND growth strategy in line with Area and Industrials & Commodities Product Line strategies;
* Drive the SPP (Services Process Planning) portfolio growth for the IND Product Line across the Area;
* Prepare yearly revenue & sales budget and manage the Profit & Loss of the Product Line for the Area;
* Ensure business delivery is in line with Operational Excellence and Performance KPIs;
* Oversee in-area commercial resources through strong matrix accountability, monitor and support the development of IND large opportunities and Global key accounts in Area;
* Create and maintain direct relationships with strategic customers and key accounts across the Area;
* Organize (prepare, execute, follow-up) regular operational meetings with his/her team;
* Lead coach employees (individual development, motivation, assessment, feedback),
* Interview, select and recruit staff, perform employee performance assessment.
* Work with Building & Infrastructure Product Line and Area leaders on building IND talent pipeline to ensure the right investments are made for the product line;
* Fully adhere to, and comply with, the Bureau Veritas Core Values, Code of Ethics and 3 Absolutes.
* Ensure and be accountable for the implementation BV Procedures related to technical Risk &Quality
