Job Context:
The HR Manager is responsible for executing Human Resource strategies and guidelines that support the business objectives of the Company. This role ensures compliance with all applicable employment and labor laws to foster a compliant and productive work environment. The key responsibilities include managing workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and learning & development programs to enhance operational efficiency and employee engagement. Additionally, the HR Manager will lead the adoption and implementation of Q Collection’s Sustainability Framework in collaboration with the Global Sustainability team, ensuring operational targets are met in social, environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) performance.
Job Responsibilities:
Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition:
* Maintain workforce planning to meet production demands and seasonal requirements.
* Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled operators, supervisors, and management professionals.
* Manage end-to-end hiring processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
* Foster relationships with external educational institutes and training service providers to meet headcount needs and build a talent pipeline.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
* Ensure strict compliance with Moroccan employment and labor laws and industry-specific regulations.
* Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution in accordance with the People Policies of Q Collection and local regulations.
* Maintain a positive work environment and encourage open communication among the employees.
* Promote workplace safety programs in alignment with Q Collection’s and local occupational health standards.
Performance Management & Learning & Development:
* Implement Performance Management Systems (PMS) in consultation with the Global People Team to assess and enhance employee productivity and effectiveness.
* Develop training programs to continuously enhance employees in technical and soft skills.
* Work with department heads to identify skill gaps and recommend training solutions.
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
* Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with local laws.
* Manage employee benefits and incentive programs to drive engagement and retention.
HR Strategy & Organizational Development:
* Adopt and align Q Collection’s People policies with business goals to support long-term growth and operational efficiency.
* Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
* Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the workforce.
Environment, Social and Governance (ESG):
* Liese with Q Collection’s Global Sustainability team to adopt and implement the company’s Sustainability Framework, as well as Environment and Social Management System (ESMS).
* Develop and execute ESG initiatives focused on social and environmental performance and OHS improvements.
* Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, ensuring compliance with global and local sustainability regulations.
* Promote a culture of sustainability across the workforce through training and awareness programs.
Government & Regulatory Compliance:
* Ensure the company complies with all applicable government regulations, including social, environmental, and workplace safety laws of Morocco.
* Obtain and manage all necessary licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals, as well as customer requirements, related to social and environmental operations.
* Maintain accurate documentation and liaise with government authorities on compliance matters.
* Conduct periodic audits to identify and address compliance risks.
Administration & Housekeeping:
* Oversee general administration functions to ensure smooth business operations.
* Maintain office and production unit housekeeping standards for a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Ensure proper facility management, including security, utilities, and workspace organization.
Job Requirement:
Educational Background:
* BA Honors Degree or MBA - preferably in Human Resources / Industrial relations.
Experience:
* Around 8-10 years’ experience in HR in a compliant and process-driven manufacturing environment.
Additional Requirement:
* Must have strong English Communication Skill.
