Job Title: K-12 Core Subject Teacher

Position Overview:
The American School of Ben Guerir is seeking a dedicated and passionate K-12 Core Subject Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality instruction in one or more core subjects (Math, Science, Language Arts, or Social Studies) in alignment with the AERO Curriculum (Common Core and IB experience accepted).
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that respects and nurtures diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Participate in school-wide activities, including parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant subject area (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification or license.
- At least two years of experience teaching in a K-12 setting, preferably within an international or American curriculum environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Familiarity with technology and educational tools to enhance the learning experience.
