GIS CAD Specialist

ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently seeking a highly skilled GIS CAD Specialist to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh.

This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all technical aspects related to CAD and GIS systems. You should coordinate with all the other relevant senior disciplines such as structures, drainage, roads and material, among others.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Main descriptions of the job position:

* Develop and maintain spatial databases and digital maps using GIS and CAD software.
* Convert engineering drawings and plans into GIS-compatible formats.
* Perform spatial analysis to support decision-making and project planning.
* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
* Collaborate with engineers, planners, and field teams to gather and integrate data.
* Produce high-quality cartographic outputs and technical drawings.
* Support data migration, integration, and visualization efforts.
* Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders on GIS/CAD tools..

ABOUT YOU

* Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
* Proven experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
* Strong understanding of spatial data formats, coordinate systems, and geoprocessing techniques.
* Applicable Experience: over 7 years in related experience, particularly in mega construction projects.
* Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles.
* Knowledge of remote sensing and GPS data collection.
* Experience with web-based GIS platforms and data visualization tools.
* Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
* Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm.

Additional requirements:

* Transferable Iqama in case of non-Saudi.
* Based in Riyadh.
* Valid SCE membership.
