About the Role: Email & SMS Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a data-driven, creative, and highly experienced lifecycle marketer to lead our Email & SMS marketing efforts across multiple brands.

You’ll own everything from strategy to execution, including segmentation, automation, design, analytics, deliverability, and list growth — to increase customer retention and revenue.

This isn’t a junior execution role, it’s a leadership position for someone who understands the full marketing ecosystem: funnels, paid traffic, creative testing, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute Email & SMS marketing strategies that drive sales and retention.
* Build automated customer journeys, flows, and funnels for different buyer segments.
* Design high-performing campaigns and A/B test creative, copy, and offers.
* Manage and expand subscriber lists legally through SEO, paid ads, and on-site pop-ups.
* Coordinate with content, design, and performance teams for unified campaigns.
* Optimize deliverability and maintain compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
* Analyze performance data (CTR, open rates, conversion rates, revenue per subscriber) and continually optimize.
* Collaborate with paid media team to build retargeting and win-back systems across channels.


Requirements
* 4+ years of hands-on experience with Email & SMS marketing (Klaviyo, Omnisend, Shopify, or similar).
* Proven ability to build full-funnel lifecycle campaigns that generate revenue.
* Deep understanding of audience segmentation, automation, and retention marketing.
* Strong design sense and experience using Canva, Figma, or in-platform email builders.
* Experience managing legal compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, TCPA).
* Knowledge of SEO, paid ads, and website opt-in strategies to grow subscriber lists.
* Comfortable leading strategy while also executing campaigns hands-on.


Bonus Skills
* Experience with Shopify integrations and DTC automation stacks.
* Strong copywriting and storytelling ability for outdoor/lifestyle audiences.
* Familiarity with SMS tools (Postscript, Attentive, Klaviyo SMS, etc.).
* Experience with multi-brand management or international campaigns.
