Role Overview :

Your Mission

As a Development & Release Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of components or systems within your scope, ensuring full alignment with Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) objectives.

You will play a key role in coordinating suppliers, driving component development, and ensuring proper integration within the vehicle environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

* Ensure completeness and availability of all engineering documentation required for supplier sourcing packages
* Lead technical reviews and contribute to supplier selection decisions
* Analyze supplier feedback and prepare technical recommendation reports
* Drive component development to meet project milestones and QCDP targets
* Manage supplier activities and ensure quality processes compliance (APQP)
* Guarantee design robustness, manufacturability, and technical feasibility
* Lead FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA) and risk assessment activities
* Ensure timely delivery of prototypes for validation phases
* Coordinate component integration into systems (engine, vehicle, platform)
* Identify risks/issues and drive corrective actions
* Manage validation plans (DV/PV) and ensure execution of testing activities
* Lead engineering change management and technical configuration
* Contribute to cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
* Support crisis resolution and technical problem-solving
* Provide clear reporting to project stakeholders
* Coordinate and mentor engineers or external resources

🎓 Your Profile

* Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar)
* Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive engineering
* Strong knowledge of:
* Product development lifecycle
* Project management tools
* Quality processes (FMEA, validation, testing)
* Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Fluent English (B2 minimum)
