As a Database Administrator, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

* Conduct weekly performance analysis using AWR reports.
* Review and optimize SQL queries after every release.
* Refine execution plans for critical queries.
* Continuously monitor storage and data files.
* Perform monthly (Prod) and daily (QA) validation of backup and recovery procedures.
* Audit user privileges and access controls as needed.
* Configure database alerts and notifications.
* Periodically archive historical data and maintain archive scripts.
* Conduct SQL code reviews for merge requests in GitHub.
* Regularly monitor database resource utilization and request optimization as needed.
* Provide daily support to developers and assist with database-level issues.
* Create PL/SQL procedures and execute data migration tasks between Maximo databases.
* Export and import dump files to refresh Dev, Preprod, and Training environments.

Compétences et expérience requises

Profile Main Requirements (must Have Qualifications)

* University or college degree in engineering, computer sciences, physic, mathematics or relevant experience in equivalent domain
* Great communication skills in English and French
* 5+ years experience maintaining a Oracle DB
* 3+ years experience conducting weekly performance analysis by reviewing AWR reports to identify and address performance bottlenecks efficiently.
* 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
* Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization.
* Experience with SQL query optimization, index management, and storage management.
* Experience with Oracle backup and recovery procedures.
* Experience with Oracle security auditing and compliance.
* Experience with data archiving and migration.
* Experience with Oracle alert configuration and monitoring.
* Experience with SQL code review and approval.
* Continuously monitor storage and data files to identify potential space issues and implement necessary maintenance, such as resizing data files or tablespaces.
* Perform monthly validation of the backup and recovery procedures to ensure that the data is protected and can be restored in case of a failure or data loss.
* Periodically, archive historical data to reduce the size of the database, improving overall system performance and reducing storage costs.
* 3+ years experience configuring database alerts and notifications to proactively identify and address potential issues, such as high resource usage, before they impact application performance. Upon receiving an alert or notification, take appropriate action to resolve the issue promptly.
* 3+ years experience creating PL/SQL procedures and execute data migration tasks between Maximo databases as requested, either for developer (DEV) or project owner (PO).
* Regularly monitor database resource utilization, such as CPU, memory, and storage, and request resource optimization as needed to support application growth.
