Role Description The Commis de rang is a full-time, on-site role based at Cruiser Mogador in Essaouira. The role supports the restaurant team by preparing tables, setting up service stations, and ensuring dining areas are clean, organized, and ready for guests. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming guests, presenting menus, assisting with order taking, serving food and beverages, and clearing and resetting tables efficiently. The Commis de rang collaborates closely with chefs, waitstaff, and supervisors to maintain high service standards and smooth service flow. The role also involves adhering to hygiene and safety procedures, handling guest requests courteously, and contributing to a positive and professional atmosphere in the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Foundational restaurant service skills, including table setting, food and beverage service, and basic knowledge of dining etiquette.

• Customer service and communication skills to interact courteously with guests and work effectively with team members.

• Ability to follow instructions, support senior staff, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospitality environment
