We’re seeking an accomplished Commercial Director to drive growth and lead commercial strategy for a market-leading FMCG business in Morocco. This is a pivotal role for a dynamic leader who combines strategic vision with strong execution, and a deep understanding of consumer markets across Morocco and the wider North African region.
Reporting to the CEO, the Commercial Director will take full ownership of the commercial agenda — developing and executing strategies that maximise sales, profitability, and market share across all channels. You’ll oversee sales, marketing, trade marketing, and key account management, while identifying new growth opportunities through innovation, partnerships, and category development.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement the commercial strategy to deliver sustainable revenue and profit growth.
* Lead and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team.
* Develop long-term partnerships with key customers, distributors, and retail chains.
* Analyse market trends and consumer insights to identify new business opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure commercial alignment.
* Drive excellence in trade execution, pricing, and promotional effectiveness.
About You
* Proven experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role within the FMCG sector.
* Strong knowledge of Moroccan retail, distribution, and consumer trends.
* Track record of delivering commercial growth in dynamic, competitive markets.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
* Fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
