POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Chief of Staff to partner directly with our CEO in driving organizational effectiveness, alignment, and execution of our most critical priorities. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment and has a strong background in the payments industry.
The Chief of Staff will act as a force multiplier for the CEO, helping translate vision into action, coordinating across departments, and ensuring the company delivers on its mission and goals.
Your Impact Zone
Strategic Alignment & CEO Support
* Act as a thought partner to the CEO, helping refine strategy and turn vision into operational plans.
* Prioritize and track the CEO’s agenda (weekly, monthly, quarterly), ensuring time is spent on the most impactful areas.
* Handle confidential projects on behalf of the CEO.
Project & Program Management
* Lead and manage cross-functional projects, especially those that don’t clearly fall into one department (e.g., new market entry, regulatory compliance initiatives, new product rollouts).
* Drive strategic project management, from planning through execution, ensuring projects are aligned with company goals and delivered on time.
* Establish project tracking systems to ensure accountability across leadership teams.
* Act as a problem-solver for bottlenecks and blockers that may slow execution.
* Support OKR/goal-setting processes and ensure quarterly goals are aligned and measurable.
Leadership Team Coordination
* Facilitate executive team alignment by setting agendas, tracking priorities, and ensuring follow-through on decisions.
* Drive alignment across departments (Product, Tech, Compliance, Treasury, Operations, Finance, Commercial, HR).
* Step in as an interim project lead when the CEO or COO needs bandwidth support.
Investor, Partner & Regulatory Support
* Draft and review board decks, investor updates, and partnership proposals.
* Coordinate the CEO’s involvement with regulators, auditors, and banking/mobile money partners.
* Support due diligence, compliance, and expansion projects where external stakeholder alignment is critical.
Organizational Development
* Promote culture and values alignment across teams.
* Partner with HR/People teams to support leadership development, hiring priorities, and retention initiatives.
* Foster a culture consistent with Cauridor’s values, supporting leadership development and team engagement.
* Act as a sounding board for senior leaders, helping resolve conflicts and align goals.
Your Toolkit for the Role
* At least 5 years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial services, with a proven understanding of the industry landscape.
* Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable plans.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
* High degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
