Role Overview:

As part of powertrain development activities, the Powertrain Calibration IC carries out testing and calibration of the functions under their responsibility, in compliance with the imposed criteria and allocations, and by steering performance trade-offs when necessary. The calibration must ensure the actual and robust delivery of the powertrain performance provided to the customer, within the limits of the hardware potential.

To perform this task, they have access to high-performance tools, heavy test facilities (engine test benches, chassis dynamometers), as well as prototype vehicles available for testing.

* The Powertrain Calibration IC must adapt to changes in the technical and relational context that have a direct impact on calibration activities, such as changes in product plan milestones, software evolutions on which calibrations depend, or personnel movements resulting in fluctuations in team skills.
* They manage the calibration deliverables within their field, but may also work with external suppliers providing calibration deliverables.
* They ensure that calibrations are delivered according to the project schedule, including during calibration missions, at the required quality level and in compliance with engineering standards.
* They contribute to the improvement of the engineering reference framework in coordination with the various experts/specialists and ensure its application across all performed activities.
* They provide a weekly summary of their activities to the project team.
* They plan the efficient use of test resources (vehicles, powertrains, or engines) made available, which are shared with other engineering teams.

Profile

* Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, with a mechanical engineering focus
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of powertrain systems
* Good listening skills, strong synthesis abilities, and technical rigor
