Our client is a global leader in the power and energy sector, providing advanced electrical equipment and integrated EPC solutions for transmission and distribution networks.

The company operates in more than 60 countries and is expanding its activities from Morocco towards West Africa and Southern Europe.

To strengthen its regional base, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Engineer to drive market development, client relations, and project growth in the African and European regions.

🎯 Your Main Responsibilities1. Market Development & Strategy
* Define and execute a Go-to-Market plan for key countries (Morocco, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Mauritania, Tunisia, etc.).
* Identify and engage utilities, EPC contractors, IPPs, ministries, and local partners.
* Map regional opportunities (public tenders, private projects, partnerships).
* Represent the company at technical events, seminars, and industry exhibitions to strengthen brand visibility.

2. Technical & Commercial Development
* Promote the company’s range of medium- and high-voltage products: transformers, switchgear, GIS, substations, transmission lines, modular and mobile substations, etc.
* Translate client needs into technical solutions, in coordination with engineering teams based in China and Morocco.
* Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting to contract negotiation and project execution.
* Support the preparation of EPC proposals, integrating equipment, services, and technical supervision.

3. Networking & Specification
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (utilities, consultants, EPCs, end-users).
* Secure product approvals and vendor listings within major utilities (e.g. national electricity companies).
* Monitor market intelligence and contribute to technical and commercial positioning across target countries.

🧠 Profile Required🎓 Education:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Energy (Master’s level preferred).

💼 Professional Experience:
* 8–15 years of experience in the electrical, energy, or EPC sector.
* Proven track record in technical sales, business development, or project execution for medium/high-voltage solutions.
* Experience dealing with or within Asian industrial companies (ideally Chinese) is a strong asset.
* Field experience across West and/or North Africa is essential.
* Solid understanding of T&D projects (substations, lines, protection systems, FAT/SAT, commissioning, etc.).

🌐 Languages:
* Excellent English (mandatory) – used daily for meetings and communication with Chinese teams.
* French – professional fluency for client interaction in Africa.
* Arabic is an asset.

💰 Package & Benefits
