Automation Technician

Automation Technician is responsible for working as part of the team to maintain and operate automated equipment and systems in a safe and consistent manner for reaching the maximum performances.

* Relationship with process technicians to validate tools, equipment and report each anomaly detected at the equipment level.
* Relationship with the quality auditors or engineers for the validation of the equipment with the supervisors for proposals to reduce downtime.
* Relationship with the spare parts store Responsible to define Maintenance intervention needs.
* Relationship with production supervisors.
* Relationship with engineering
* Perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on machines, equipment, and tools.
* Test software engineering solutions.
* Work closely with other technicians, engineers and manufacturing to resolve issues in order to achieve effectiveness of production.
* Assist in the training of new employees on proper machine handling.
* Ensure machines are properly calibrated.
* Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
