As an Application Architect, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

* Research modern architectures and best practices which can optimize and improve application efficiency
* Promote and leverage best practices for architecture and design activities
* Constantly provide recommendations for optimizations and modernization based on platform behavior and available new versions
* Understand Customer and internal requirements and work with vendors and team members to leverage best practices to address the requirements
* Work with internal and external partners to optimize and modernize existing platforms
* Guide teams to leverage modern technologies to automate unit testing and build CI/CD pipelines
* Capable of working with and representing the division with enterprise architecture teams

Compétences et expérience requises

Profile Main Requirements (must Have Qualifications)

* Bachelor Degree in administration, commerce, computer science, project management or related fields
* Great communication skills in English, French is an asset
* 4-5 years experience as an architect designing optimal services accessing relational database or ETL Tools
* Excellent understanding of service based architecture within multi-tier environment
* Strong understanding of Data warehouse architecture including workload management
* Deep understanding of best practices within multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments
* Proven and demonstrable experience in designing and implementing high volume and highly available analytics solutions with high degree of automation.
* Capable of working as an individual contributor and as part of an agile team member
* Motivated individual with drive towards automation and sSDLC
* Experience with Teradata, IBM DataStage, or SAS will be an asset

Nice To Have

* Working knowledge of Relational Database preferably Teradata Database
* Familiarity with ETL tools preferably IBM Datastage
* Understanding of multi-tier architecture preferably SAS
* Exposure to cloud environments preferably Google Cloud
* Experience of working in an Agile Development Environment preferably SAFe
* Familiarity of Cloud Native Tools
* Strong Leadership Management with Risk based prioritization
* Display strong Interpersonal communication and presentation skills
* Capability of working with Internal Stakeholders and external Vendors
* Ability to adapt and work in a fast paced environment with good tolerance to ambiguity and working on multiple projects
