Job Title: Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions related to incoming and outgoing payments. The ideal candidate will ensure timely processing of invoices, accurate recording of payments, and effective collection of receivables while maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

* Process and verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
* Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
* Assist in month-end closing and reporting related to payables.

Accounts Receivable:

* Generate and send invoices to customers.
* Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
* Record incoming payments and apply them to the correct accounts.
* Resolve billing and payment discrepancies with clients.
* Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely collections.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Proven experience in both accounts payable and accounts receivable roles (1–3 years).
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems.
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Bilingual (English/French or English/Arabic) is a plus.
