Accounting/Bookkeeping Role – Agadir, Morocco  

Customs Complete is expanding! We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity for a driven individual to join our dynamic team as Accounts Administrator. 

Customs Complete was founded in late 2020 to combat the Supply Chain problems that were arising from Brexit and has been rapidly growing ever since. We have offices in Galway, London, & La Havre, and our company is now looking for a dedicated professional to manage our accounting functions, particularly focusing on our operations in the French market. 

This role is remote, based in Morocco, and requires fluency in French due to the nature of our business activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of our rapidly growing company. 

 

Location: Office in Agadir, Morocco (On-site)  

 

Day to Day responsibilities 

* Ownership of the payroll function from processing of weekly and monthly payroll, as well as monthly/quarterly returns. 
* Administration of starters and leavers as well as any queries employees may have. 
* Weekly and monthly reconciliations. 
* Processing AP invoices for multiple companies. 
* Chasing outstanding AR invoices 
* Reconciliation of bank, supplier & customer accounts. 
* Accurately inputting data to Xero and Excel. 
* Assist with month end accounts and year end audit. 

 

Skills / Requirements 

* Proven experience in payroll and general bookkeeping / accounting work. 
* Proficiency in the use of Payroll and Accounting systems – experience with Xero is preferred. 
* Up to date knowledge of Irish, UK & French payroll and legislation 
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. 
* Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality 
* A high level of attention to detail/accuracy 
* Clear communication skills with C2 level of English. and French 
* Fluency in French, both spoken and written, is essential due to our work in the French market.
