Warehouse Operator

Job Purpose:

Focuses on the day-to-day activities within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. This position involves ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and safely, managing inventory levels, and maintaining accurate records. Works closely with the Warehouse Manager to support overall operational goals. A warehouse operator ensures the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Their core duties include loading and unloading deliveries, picking and packing orders, managing inventory, and operating machinery like forklifts. They must also strictly adhere to workplace health and safety protocols

Core Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Shipping: Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damages, verify paperwork, and process outgoing customer orders.

• Order Fulfillment: Retrieve (pick) specified merchandise from storage, pack it securely, and label it for dispatch.

• Inventory Control: Conduct routine stock counts, utilize hand-held scanners, and rotate stock to maintain organization.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.

• Safety & Upkeep: Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and follow all safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: A High School diploma with minimum 3 years of experience in Warehouse

• Licensing: A valid forklift license is mandatory.

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move heavy objects.

• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management System (WMS) or scanning systems.

• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Language Skills: Fluent in English, French and Arabic
