UI/UX Designer (SaaS)

The Role

You’ll own the end-to-end product design lifecycle for a complex web application used daily by operators: discovery → flows → wireframes → high-fidelity UI → interactive prototypes → developer-ready specs. You’ll partner closely with the founder and engineering lead to turn real user problems into elegant, performant interfaces.

What You’ll Do

* Lead discovery: stakeholder interviews, jobs-to-be-done, task & edge-case mapping
* Define IA & navigation for a data-rich, multi-screen web app
* Produce low-fi wires → hi-fi UI in Figma (Auto-layout, components, variants)
* Build a design system (tokens, components, states, accessibility guidelines)
* Prototype interactions & micro-interactions for real-time interfaces (tables, editors, rules, charts)
* Deliver developer handoff: redlines, component props, empty/loading/error states
* Run quick usability tests, analyze results, iterate toward conversion & speed
* Maintain basic EN UI copy; FR localization is a plus

What You Bring

* 3+ years in B2B SaaS or complex internal tools (dashboards, admin consoles, builders/editors)
* Expert Figma skills (components/variants, prototyping, auto-layout)
* Strong responsive and mobile-first design; accessibility (WCAG AA) awareness
* Comfortable designing data-dense UIs: tables with filters/sorting, KPIs, charts, side panels, bulk actions
* Clear communication, crisp documentation, and a bias to ship
* Portfolio with at least one data-heavy SaaS and one complex workflow/editor project

Nice to Have

* Familiarity with Tailwind/shadcn.ui or effective handoff to React teams
* Experience with analytics/experimentation (funnels, A/B testing)
* Basic UX writing in EN/FR
