Based in Agadir, Sahara Exploration(s) collaborates with local partners and guides to offer authentic tours tailored to diverse traveler interests. Team members are encouraged to share their passion for Moroccan heritage and desert exploration while ensuring safe, memorable experiences for guests.

Role Description This is a full-time Guide touristique role based in Agadir with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be completed from home. The guide will lead individual and group tours across Southern Morocco and Sahara regions, providing informative commentary on local culture, geography, and history. Daily responsibilities include planning itineraries, coordinating logistics with local partners, welcoming guests, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality customer service throughout each tour. The guide will also assist with bookings, respond to traveler inquiries, promote additional experiences, and contribute to online content or trip documentation from home when needed. Collaboration with the operations team to refine tours and maintain high standards of guest satisfaction is an important part of the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct Guided Tours, including storytelling, group coordination, and on-site problem-solving.

• Strong Communication skills, both spoken and written, in relevant languages (French, English, and Arabic or Amazigh preferred).

• Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on hospitality, empathy, and managing diverse traveler expectations.

• Working knowledge of local and regional History, culture, and traditions, with the ability to share information in an engaging way.

• Basic Sales skills to promote tours, additional activities, and services in a respectful, customer-centered manner.

• Comfort working outdoors in desert and rural environments and adherence to safety procedures.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with reliability in managing schedules and logistics.

• Previous experience in tourism, guiding, or hospitality is highly beneficial; relevant training or certification in tourism is a plus.
