Role Overview
As a Telehealth Nurse, you will be the first point of contact for patients seeking care. Your role focuses on assessment, education, care navigation, and follow-up, not heavy-handed medical diagnosing.
You will:
* Ask guided clinical questions
* Record patient symptoms and history clearly
* Provide supportive health education and reassurance
* Determine whether the patient needs to be escalated to a Nurse Practitioner
* Conduct follow-up check-ins and monitor progress
* Document notes in our EMR system
You will not be required to diagnose, prescribe, or make independent medical decisions.
Responsibilities
* Answer patient calls, WhatsApp messages, and scheduled telehealth visits
* Conduct structured symptom assessments using provided clinical scripts
* Provide patient education and lifestyle or home-care recommendations
* Recognize red flags and escalate cases appropriately
* Prepare case summaries for NPs when escalation is needed
* Follow up with patients to support recovery and medication adherence
* Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (RN) license in your country of residence
* Experience in primary care, urgent care, ER, telehealth, or community health preferred
* Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
* Ability to follow structured clinical protocols and workflows
* Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
* Compassionate, patient-centered care approach
Bilingual in English + Spanish is a plus but not required.

Compensation
* Competitive hourly or per-consult pay depending on experience
Schedule
We offer flexible scheduling, including:
* 4–8 hour shifts
* Rotating days
* Weekend optional shifts
* Overnight or early morning availability welcomed
We are building a 24/7 support model, so multiple time zones are beneficial.
