COFICAB is hiring a Maintenance Technician

Job purpose :

Ensure the proper functioning of production equipment through effective electrical and mechanical maintenance interventions.

Main responsibilities :

-Perform diagnosis of electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment.

-Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks based on work orders.

-Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, transformers, switches, wires, bearings, pumps, and transmission systems.

-Use diagnostic tools (multimeter, clamp meter, etc.) to identify electrical faults.

-Dismantle, repair, reassemble, and align mechanical parts and systems.

-Conduct testing and validation after interventions in coordination with the production team leader.

-Participate in the installation of new machinery and the upgrade of existing equipment (wiring, mounting, commissioning...).

-Ensure accurate reporting of interventions and proper completion of maintenance work orders.

Educational Background:

* Diploma or technical degree equivalent to Bac+2 in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields (e.g., OFPPT, EST, or equivalent).

Required Experience :

* 1 to 3 years in a similar position in industrial/manufacturing environment.

Functional and Technical Competencies :

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on equipment such as motors, transformers, switches, cables, bearings, pumps, and transmissions.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for both electrical and mechanical systems.Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards during all maintenance operations.

Collaborate with production teams to test and validate equipment performance after interventions.

Apply problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
