Role Purpose:

As the Supply Chain Leader for our new brownfield and greenfield plant, you will take full ownership of establishing and leading all supply chain functions. This includes designing infrastructure, implementing systems, and leading procurement, warehousing, and logistics operations to make and then maintain the plant operational.


Key Responsibilities:


End-to-End Supply Chain Setup

* Design and implement supply chain infrastructure and processes in coordination with Project and Regional teams.
* Ensure efficient material flow (raw materials and finished goods) with 100% on-time delivery (OTD).
* Optimize inbound, storage, and outbound logistics costs in collaboration with the SSCM function.
* Develop and maintain warehousing procedures (receiving, storing, picking, dispatching).

Procurement & Logistics Operations

* Lead operational purchasing, warehousing, and inbound/outbound logistics to support uninterrupted production and delivery.
* Secure application of customer and internal specifications, including accurate use of ERP system parameters.

Inventory Management & Improvement

* Ensure optimal inventory levels to balance availability, cost, and working capital targets.
* Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and stock visibility across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
* Implement proactive measures to minimize obsolete and excess stock, especially in high-risk areas such as cable components subject to design changes.
* Analyze demand variability and lead time constraints to define dynamic safety stock policies and replenishment strategies.
* Coordinate with upstream and downstream partners to align inventory buffers across the supply chain.

ERP & Digital Tools Implementation

* Roll out ERP systems, dashboards, and digital tools to enable real-time visibility and effective control of procurement, inventory, and logistics.
* Ensure full integration of supply chain processes in the ERP with correct and up-to-date master data.

Customs & Trade Compliance

* Establish and maintain compliant customs and trade procedures aligned with Moroccan and international regulations.
* Monitor regulatory changes to ensure compliance and optimize import/export costs.

Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination

* Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, customs authorities, and 3PLs to ensure reliable and responsive operations.
* Engage early with engineering and sourcing teams to anticipate changes and manage transitions effectively.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization

* Lead value-add initiatives (e.g., deflation and productivity projects) to enhance supply chain efficiency and profitability.
* Apply Lean principles, enforce 5S standards, and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.

Performance Monitoring

* Monitor and drive improvement of key KPIs, including:
* On-time delivery (OTD)
* Inventory accuracy and turnover
* Freight and logistics cost optimization
* Obsolescence and excess stock reduction
* Customer satisfaction
* Overall supply chain responsiveness and agility

Your Profile:

* University degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics leadership in automotive industry, preferably in a wiring harness industry.
* Experience with greenfield or brownfield project(s).
* Familiar with Moroccan import/export regulations and local logistics ecosystem.
* Proficient in SCM tools.
* Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
* Well-organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
* Familiarity with IATF/IRIS and Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Fluent in English, Arabic and French.
