• Main Purpose of Job:

The role holder is responsible for managing the supply planning operations carried out within the department ensuring the availability of all required inventory to support in the production and avoid disruptions in the operations.

• Functional Responsibilities:

• Manages the development and implementation of stocking parameters and supply planning methods to be followed to govern the operations carried out within the department.

• Ensures proper review of distribution and supply demand history to analyze inventory level for procurement planning and utilization of the item in order to optimize the inventory levels as well to avoid them becoming non-moving.

• Leads the development and implementation of plans for physical inventory count and verify physical count results and recommends variance adjustment actions to be adopted.

• Manages the initiation of the corrective action for physical inventory count in coordination with the logistics and warehouse operations to maintain a highly inventory accuracy level.

• Ensure proper monitoring of inventory items to ensure availability of optimum quantities in stock at which productions units and other teams can be safely and reliably operated and maintained with the greatest degree of efficiency.

• Manages continuous reviews and analyses on the inventory levels in order to recommend updates to be made and avoid excess in replenishment of stock.

• Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management or a related field.

Master Degree in related field.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in a similar role.

3 years of experience at a Supervisor / Mid-Management

English - proficient

Arabic - working knowledge
