Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef, based in Kenitra. The Sous Chef will assist in managing kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring consistent quality and presentation of dishes. Responsibilities also include supporting the executive chef, mentoring kitchen staff, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring that all safety and health regulations are followed. The role requires collaboration with the team to develop new menu items while maintaining current recipes and accommodating various dietary needs.
Qualifications
* Strong culinary skills, including expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and creativity in menu development
* Leadership and teamwork skills to mentor and manage kitchen staff effectively
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, along with organizational and time-management abilities
* Experience working in a high-pressure kitchen environment with the ability to multitask and maintain quality
* Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are beneficial
* Previous experience in a similar Sous Chef role is preferred
