What you'll do:
As a Simulation & Calculation Engineer, you will be a technical reference within the team, supporting the development of best-in-class simulation methodologies. Your main tasks will include:
* Carrying out vibratory simulation analyses, including Fatigue DSP and modal analysis, to ensure component durability and performance.
* Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of calculation standards, in collaboration with our Meta Function teams.
* Ensuring the deployment and evolution of the Stellantis Global Calculation Framework, tailored to our latest digital practices and tools.
* Providing technical support and guidance to team members, while contributing to skills development across the department.
* Guaranteeing on-time delivery, technical accuracy, and quality assurance through correlation studies and predictive simulation techniques.
* Managing subcontracted work: from technical coordination to workload planning, forecasting, and budget tracking.
* Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of simulation into the product development cycle.
What you'll bring:
We’re seeking a candidate with a solid technical foundation, proactive mindset, and strong interpersonal abilities. Ideally, your profile includes:
Education & Experience
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related fields
* At least 3–5 years of experience in vibratory simulation, fatigue analysis, or structural calculations
* Hands-on knowledge of simulation tools: ANSA / Metapost / FEMFAT / Abaqus / N Code PSALIB
Technical & Soft Skills
* Strong understanding of simulation workflows and correlation techniques
* Knowledge of calculation frameworks in a structured, industrial environment
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A collaborative, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work across functions
* Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, with a structured problem-solving approach
* Adaptability and curiosity for continuous improvement
* Fluency in English and French.
