We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to join the Noor Midelt 2 & 3 Projects in Morocco—two landmark utility-scale renewable energy projects comprising 400 MWp photovoltaic (PV) power plants, each integrated with 230 MW Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional with extensive EPC and manufacturing experience to lead quality assurance activities across the full project lifecycle, ensuring world-class quality standards from manufacturing through commissioning and handover.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Project Director, the Senior Quality Manager will represent the Owner at project level and provide strategic leadership for all quality assurance and quality control activities. You will work closely with EPC Contractors, suppliers, manufacturers and project stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality are achieved throughout engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning and project handover.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and oversight of the Project Quality Management System throughout all project phases.

• Ensure EPC Contractors, subcontractors and suppliers comply with contractual quality requirements, project specifications, international codes and industry standards.

• Drive quality assurance activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and final handover.

• Lead quality surveillance and PV manufacturing inspections, including supplier audits, factory inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), manufacturing quality control and shipment release activities.

• Oversee inspection and acceptance of critical materials and equipment, ensuring full traceability, preservation and compliance before installation.

• Review and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), concessions, root cause analyses, corrective actions and preventive actions.

• Monitor project quality performance through KPIs, quality audits, surveillance activities, inspection status, rework trends and supplier performance.

• Lead multidisciplinary quality activities across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and battery energy storage systems.

• Ensure all quality documentation, inspection records, test reports, material certificates, turnover dossiers and handover documentation are complete and compliant.

• Mentor and guide project quality teams while fostering a proactive culture of quality and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with EPC Contractors, Owner's Engineers, Independent Engineers, Lenders' Technical Advisors, manufacturers, third-party inspection agencies and project leadership to proactively manage quality risks.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Electrical.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within large-scale EPC infrastructure, power generation or renewable energy projects.

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Quality Manager or Project Quality Manager on utility-scale Solar PV projects, with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) experience considered highly advantageous.

• Extensive Quality Assurance experience throughout the complete EPC project lifecycle.

• Strong experience conducting and overseeing PV manufacturing inspections, supplier quality management, factory surveillance, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), manufacturing quality control and supplier audits.

• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality auditing, documentation control, NCR management and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Strong understanding of PV module manufacturing processes, electrical equipment quality requirements and multidisciplinary construction quality management.

• Experience leading quality teams within complex international EPC projects.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

• Lead Auditor and/or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) certification will be highly regarded.

• Willingness to be site-based at the Noor Midelt 2 & 3 Projects in Morocco.
