The Partnerships Business Development Senior Manager is expected to lead the partnership's business strategy and operations for Morocco. The role requires establishing and growing partnerships for Viu Premium (Subscription) business to achieve paid subscribers and revenue growth with key players across industries including (but not limited to) Telecom, Ecommerce, Banking, Payments Retail, and others. The position works closely with all internal and external cross-functional groups to ensure fulfillment of client requirements & product performance as per targets. This is an individual performer role.


Your role

Develop & grow the partnership portfolio for Viu in Morocco.

* Build a pipeline for potential deals to generate Viu premium revenue & paying subscribers as per the Annual Operating Plan targets of the company.
* Managing and Mapping all Telco partners at (CXO Level) like Inwi, Orange, and Maroc. Need to gain more Facetime in each telco every month.
* Maintain relationships with all existing Viu partners & service them. d. Penetrate Viu in Morocco through partnerships with other digital giants across e-commerce, OTTs


Lead business operations & business development for Viu in Morocco

* Position as a Viu Ambassador for all partners of Viu Premium business in Morocco
* Work in alignment with the strategic direction of the company.
* Take complete responsibility for the revenue generation from partnerships.
* Track competition & report back on major competition partnerships/activities in Morocco.


Track business metrics & report both internally & externally to all stakeholders

* Build and maintain strong and long-lasting customer relationships.
* Develop a trusted advisor/influencer relationship with all partners.
* Initiate and conclude conversations with key decision-makers for new or emerging partnership opportunities.
* Own the onboarding process across different internal and external functions (Finance, legal, marketing, technical/product).
* Lead client meetings including areas of operational improvements, presentation of new ideas, and analytical reports (from daily to monthly overview reports).


Payments & Invoicing

* Ensure monthly reports for invoicing the revenues are obtained from finance/partner within the timelines stated as per contracts.
* Collaborate with the finance team to get invoicing and payments done on time.
* Follow up with all partners for payments as per the timelines stated in the contracts


To Succeed in this Role

* Understanding of OTT and mobile operator ecosystems in Morocco along with experience in executing partnerships/distribution deals.
* Extensive track record achieving business development targets and building business relationships through customer sales. It will be a strong plus if the candidate has strong existing relationships at decision-maker/CXO levels in the telecom/e-commerce/retain industry within Morocco.
* Self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment; should be ready to take on stretch goals.
* Strong analytical skills. Should be able to understand and drive business using data and insights. • Should be comfortable handling project/deal-related conflicts, problems, and roadblocks.
* Good presentation skills with an ability to influence decision-makers.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams in different geographies in a fast-paced environment.
* English, French and Arabic fluency
* 10+ years of experience preferably in OTT or operator digital business
