About the Role

To support this ambition, we are looking for a Laboratory Supervisor to lead our Quality Laboratory operations at Jorf Lasfar.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory & Testing Management

• Oversee the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of testing systems

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of laboratory results

• Lead benchmarking activities with clients, suppliers, and third-party laboratories

• Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise and coordinate laboratory teams (technicians, analysts)

• Define and implement training plans

• Drive performance management and team development

• Operational Excellence & Quality

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality systems

• Promote best practices in safety, 6S, and laboratory operations

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives

• Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Quality, Production, and external stakeholders

• Support audits, certifications, and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Education (Mandatory)

• Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or related field

• Experience (Key Requirement)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in laboratory supervision/management

• Minimum 8 years in industry (chemical or automotive - or related field)

• Proven experience managing technicians and/or analysts

• Strong familiarity with laboratory environments and testing operations

Required Skills

• Technical & Leadership Skills

• Solid understanding of laboratory systems and quality standards

• Experience with ISO, IAETF frameworks is a strong advantage

• Strong leadership, organization, and coordination abilities

• Structured, rigorous, and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills

• Language Requirement (Critical)

• English is a working language (daily use in an international environment)
