Job Purpose

JESA is the largest engineering and project delivery firm in Africa and the MENA region, co-owned by OCP Group (global leader in fertilizers and industrial decarbonization) and Worley (a Fortune 500 global engineering and professional services firm).

Building on its 10+ years of engineering excellence and sector leadership in infrastructure, energy, mining, water, and industrial ecosystems, JESA has decided to expand into Financial Advisory services through ADS (its advisory arm).

The new Financial Advisory practice positions JESA as a unique, integrated advisor, combining:


* Deep technical and engineering expertise
* Strong understanding of African/MENA industrial and infrastructure needs
* Financial structuring and capital-raising capabilities
* Direct access to DFIs, sovereigns, utilities, and industrial champions

Its mandate is to bridge the gap between project identification and financial close, ensuring bankability, structuring, and partner engagement for large-scale industrial, energy, mining, and infrastructure projects across Africa and beyond.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant will support the execution of financial advisory mandates across mining, energy, infrastructure, and sustainable industries. They will work on feasibility studies, financial models, and transaction support, ensuring projects move from identification to bankable business cases and financial close.

Primary Responsibilities


* Conduct sector and market analyses (mining, energy, infrastructure, industrial ecosystems).
* Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, M&A, PPP structures, project finance).
* Support feasibility and bankability assessments, including tariff modelling and sensitivity analysis.
* Draft investment memoranda, teasers, and presentations for clients, investors, and DFIs.
* Assist in due diligence processes (financial, commercial, ESG).
* Contribute to transaction execution, including debt raising, refinancing, and partner negotiations.
* Maintain databases of sector projects, DFIs tenders, and client portfolios.

Education & Experience


* 3–5 years of experience in financial advisory, investment banking, Big 4 transaction advisory, or infrastructure/project finance.
* Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering from a Tier 1 university.
* Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
* Exposure to PPP/concession agreements, EPC/O&M contracts, and DFI funding instruments is a plus.
* Fluency in English and French required; Arabic is an asset.
