What You’ll Be Doing
As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring full compliance with local regulations, and supporting smooth delivery and billing processes aligned with project milestones.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
Logistics Operations Management
* Oversee import and export activities in compliance with customs and regulatory requirements (ANRT, MCI, COC).
* Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and local authorities to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
* Track inbound and outbound logistics flows and proactively address any operational issues.
Customer Fulfillment, Delivery & Billing
* Prepare and issue delivery notes and invoices upon goods receipt.
* Validate delivery documentation to ensure alignment with agreed terms and project timelines.
* Monitor delivery progress and ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate fulfillment.
Logistics Issue Resolution
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including missing documentation and invoice mismatches.
* Act as a primary contact for clients regarding logistics and delivery concerns.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Accounting, Supply Chain) to optimize processes and resolve issues efficiently.
Regulatory Compliance
* Ensure adherence to all local regulations and maintain up-to-date documentation for audits and inspections.
* Manage required permits, certificates, and authorizations related to import/export activities.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
* 2–4 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations.
* Strong understanding of local regulations (ANRT, MCI, COC) and customs procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP systems.
* Fluent in English and French.
