Sales
Responsibilities
* Identify & pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and market research
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction & retention
* Develop & implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals
* Conduct market analysis to assess competition, trends, and client needs
* Prepare quotes & pricing proposals
* Handling of walk-in requests & spot quote enquiries.
* Negotiate contract terms that conjugate between profitability & customer satisfaction
* Work closely with customer service to ensure timely & effective service delivery
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and forecasts using CRM software
* Address customer concerns promptly & effectively
* Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, supply chain management or related fields.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal & written to effectively engage with clients and trade managers & liners
* Excellent proficiency in French & English languages both verbal & written.
* Strong negotiation & persuasion skills to close deals effectively
* Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to details
* Ability to analyze & address client needs & challenges creatively
* Agility & collaborative mindset to collaborate within sales team as well as across to other departments
* No restriction for international or domestic travel to fairs, customer’s visits and MSC meetings.
Customer Service
Responsibilities
* Act as primary point of contact for customers inquiries beyond the booking stage, providing accurate, up to date information, in a timely manner.
* Processing bookings on local level and transmission of booking confirmations to customers.
* Generate analyze & issue daily bookings reports to various internal stakeholders.
* Ensure bookings comply with local & international regulations.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction & retention.
* Develop & implement effective Customer Service strategies.
* Work closely with Sales Team & Documentation team to ensure timely & effective service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of Customer service activities, customer interactions and forecasts using CRM software.
* Coordinate with MSC agents worldwide on booking process & data exchange.
* Address customer concerns promptly & effectively.
* Vessel verification & Invoicing for export.
* Handling of Invoice disputes.
* Issuance of freight manifest correctors & invoices where relevant.
Qualifications
