Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated student for a Purchasing Internship position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in critical learning experiences and contribute to essential purchasing functions.

The intern will be responsible for:

* Reviewing and processing incoming Purchase Requisitions (PRs) with meticulous attention to detail
* Conducting comprehensive Best Price Calls to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness
* Implementing and maintaining a rigorous tracking system for pending PRs and POs
* Executing precise invoice clearing procedures
* Performing accurate Master Data Maintenance to ensure data integrity
* Providing crucial administrative support and assisting buyers with strategic sourcing initiatives
* Applying structured problem-solving methodologies and implementing sustainable solutions to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications

We are seeking a qualified candidate for our Purchasing Internship position. The ideal applicant should possess the following qualifications:

* Current enrollment in a degree program related to purchasing or supply chain management
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement sustainable solutions
* Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Fluency in both English and French
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
