Production Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Leader to join our new greenfield project in Morocco within the locomotive rolling stock industry. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major industrial investment, contributing from the ground up to the launch and ramp-up of a modern manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building and leading the production team, setting up operational processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient production from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

* Active participation in the greenfield setup phase – from layout planning to equipment installation and team formation
* Lead and supervise daily production operations in line with project timelines and quality expectations
* Build, train, and develop a high-performing production team
* Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards across all operations
* Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement culture
* Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain)
* Monitor production KPIs and drive actions to meet operational targets
* Support industrialization and process optimization initiatives specific to railway rolling stock production

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production leadership role within a manufacturing environment
* Prior involvement in greenfield projects or new plant/line launches is highly desirable
* Industry background in locomotive, railway, or heavy industrial equipment manufacturing is a strong advantage
* Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methods
* Proven leadership and team-building capabilities
* Fluent in English (spoken and written); French and/or Arabic would be a plus
* Willingness to relocate to Morocco (relocation support provided)
