We’re seeking a detail-oriented Senior Payroll Manager / Accountant to join our team and take ownership of payroll and financial operations. This is a high-trust role perfect for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys building systems, and wants to directly impact the financial health and efficiency of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Contractor Management
* Manage end-to-end payroll for 50+ international contractors across multiple currencies
* Ensure accurate payouts through Wise, Payoneer, and Mercury
* Track invoices, client payments, and reconcile monthly records
Financial Operations
* Maintain internal financial reports, margins, and expense tracking
* Identify and flag irregularities before they become issues
* Support compliance and accuracy across contracts and payments
Systems & Collaboration
* Optimize processes for payroll, bookkeeping, and reporting
* Work closely with the founder and client-facing teams to align financial operations
* Help design scalable financial systems as the company grows
Requirements:
* 3+ years in payroll, accounting, or finance (international experience preferred)
* Proficient with financial tools (QuickBooks, Sheets/Excel, Ramp, Mercury, etc.)
* Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
* Comfortable working independently and proactively identifying solutions
* Trustworthy, reliable, and experienced with confidential financial data
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with contractor-based or recruitment firms
* Strong reporting and reconciliation skills
* Ability to streamline workflows and adapt templates for reporting
