Package Engineer FAS-Sensor Technology (m/f/d)

Description du poste

Ensure correct positioning and integration of sensor and control unit components (radar, camera, ultrasonic, control units) in vehicle projects, considering installation guidelines, corporate requirements, and interface specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create positioning proposals according to installation guidelines and integration specifications

• Perform and visualize installation studies

• Coordinate installation positions with system suppliers and component owners

• Participate in design, surface, and construction meetings

• Create and maintain CONNECT data structures and parameter lists

• Prepare CAD data packages for simulations (FOV studies)

• Document and prepare package approvals including PDM documents

• Define special installation positions for technology carriers and prototype vehicles

Qualifications

• Degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar

• Experience in integrating sensor components

• Knowledge of CATIA V5, CONNECT, KVS

• System understanding of driver assistance systems (FAS)

• German and English, spoken and written

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
