COBCO is a pioneering joint venture between CNGR, a global leader in battery material production, and the AL MADA Group, one of Africa’s largest private investment funds. We are building a state-of-the-art industrial park in Jorf Lasfar dedicated to the full lifecycle of battery materials, from refining to recycling. Our mission is to build a low-carbon, high-quality, closed-loop battery material manufacturing ecosystem. With a future production capacity equivalent to 70 GWh powering over 1 million electric vehicles annually we are strategically positioned to lead the energy transition in the Euro-American market.

About the Role

As our Logistics Specialist, you will be the engine that keeps our supply chain moving. You will coordinate the movement of critical materials, build strong relationships with our logistics partners, and ensure our operations run smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a major industrial player and build a career in the fast-growing battery sector.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate & Execute: Develop and implement transportation plans, liaise with carriers, and manage the entire shipping process to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.

• Problem-Solve: Proactively track shipments, address any irregularities, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain seamless operations.

• Collaborate: Work closely with warehouse and supplier teams to ensure efficient storage and scheduling.

• Analyze & Optimize: Manage logistics data, generate reports, and help us identify opportunities to improve our supply chain.

• Manage Suppliers: Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, trucking companies, and clearance agents.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or a related field is preferred or a Degree from a reputable Business School.

Required Skills

• A "Tête Bien Faite": We value intellect, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly over years of specific experience. We're open to first experiences or entry-level candidates with the right mindset.

• Language Skills: Fluent English is mandatory. Chinese is a significant plus, but not required.

• Drive: A genuine interest in logistics, sustainability, and the EV battery industry.

• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in standard office software (Excel, Word, PPT) and a knack for managing data.
