Planning, organizing, and controlling all logistics activities, including material planning, warehousing, inventory management, and shipping
Ensuring smooth production supply through effective coordination with production, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Monitoring and optimization of material flow and inventory levels to ensure availability, reduce waste, and improve working capital
Ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery performance in line with customer requirements and production schedules
Managing logistics budgets and ensuring cost control and efficiency improvements
Acting as a key interface to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across all levels and functions
Ensuring compliance with quality standards (e.g. IATF 16949), legal requirements, and internal procedures
Ensuring robust processes within the quality management system (QMS) relevant to logistics and promoting customer focus across the organization
Authority to escalate and take decisive actions in case of critical disruptions, including stopping deliveries or production if required
Ensuring health, safety, environmental, and compliance standards within the logistics area
Driving cross-functional and cross-location collaboration to ensure alignment and operational excellence across sites
Your Profile
Bachelor and optional Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field
At least 10 years of professional experience in logistics / supply chain within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the automotive industry (e.g. wiring harnesess)
At least 5 years of proven leadership experience in managing and developing logistics or supply chain teams
Proven experience working in international and cross-location environments
Strong expertise in demand planning, production planning and S&OP processes, considering customer requirements, production constraints and inventory levels
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP), EDI and digital logistics processes
Solid experience in inventory management and warehouse control, including inventory accuracy and stock optimization
Strong understanding of customs regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 9001, OEA, CTPAT)
Proven experience in logistics cost optimization, including transport efficiency and reduction of premium freight
Experience in supplier coordination and supply chain risk management, including mitigation of delays, shortages and disruptions
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to monitor KPIs and translate data into actionable improvements
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize logistics processes
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to develop, motivate, and retain talent within the team
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
High level of accountability, integrity and entrepreneurial thinking
Strong customer orientation with a focus on service level, cost efficiency, and delivery performance
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and international environments
Proven experience working in international and cross-location environments

Fluent French and English required; additional languages (e.g. German) are a plus
Proficient in MS Office and relevant logistics / supply chain systems
