Lean Engineer | Aeolon Renewable Energy Morocco

Location: Nador, Morocco

Aeolon Renewable Energy is a global leader in the manufacturing of wind turbine blades, committed to supporting the transition toward clean and sustainable energy. We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Lean Engineer to join our Continuous Improvement team and contribute to enhancing operational excellence across our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across production departments.

  • Analyze production processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.

  • Implement Lean methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), SMED, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, and Line Balancing.

  • Conduct time studies, work measurement, and capacity analysis to improve labor productivity and process flow.

  • Optimize manufacturing layouts, workstation ergonomics, and material flow to reduce non-value-added activities.

  • Monitor and improve key operational KPIs including OEE, productivity, cycle time, lead time, scrap rate, yield, downtime, and labor efficiency.

  • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, and A3 Problem Solving methodologies.

  • Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and continuous improvement documentation.

  • Support the implementation of digital performance dashboards and KPI reporting.

  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Process Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HSE, and Industrial Engineering teams to implement sustainable improvements.

  • Lead Kaizen workshops and promote a culture of operational excellence across the plant.

  • Train and coach supervisors, engineers, and operators on Lean principles and best practices.

  • Support new production line launches and industrialization projects through Lean methodologies.

  • Ensure all improvement initiatives comply with company safety, quality, environmental, and operational standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Industrial Engineering within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Proven experience implementing Lean projects that deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost reduction, or process efficiency.

  • Experience conducting Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, time studies, and process optimization.

  • Good understanding of production KPIs, data analysis, and performance management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Minitab, or similar analytical tools is considered an asset.

  • Experience working with ERP and/or MES systems is preferred.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is an advantage.
