Job Opening – Senior WordPress Developer (Morocco) for Flexpool Platform

Who we are

We are Weyouit, an IT service provider based in the Netherlands and Morocco. We support a variety of clients. Our core business is to relieve these clients of IT-related concerns in development, maintenance, and service desk. For this, we employ highly skilled IT professionals. The assignments are carried out in Morocco.

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer. The project involves building an innovative online platform that connects Islamic schools and teachers in the Netherlands and Belgium. To successfully establish this flex pool, the WordPress developer we are looking for must have the right experience to realize the full construction of the platform. We are looking for someone with technical knowledge and vision, and the drive to deliver a scalable and user-friendly platform.

About the role

As a Senior WordPress Developer, you are responsible for developing our platform from A to Z. You will work on the technical structure, ensure the integration of the right plugins, and build a solid foundation on which we can expand in the future. The platform has three types of users: teachers, schools, and the administrator. You will ensure that each of these groups has its own environment that perfectly matches their needs.

What will you do?

You will set up the vacancy and application module with WP Job Manager and the necessary add-ons, build extensive filtering options with FacetWP or Search & Filter Pro, and integrate MemberPress or Ultimate Member for user registration, roles, and restricted environments. In addition, you will create a quotation request process with Gravity Forms or Fluent Forms, including the ability to automatically generate and email quotes as PDFs. You will connect WooCommerce Subscriptions and Mollie Payments to facilitate subscriptions and payments. Furthermore, you will implement tools such as ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) for custom fields and ensure the platform runs quickly, securely, and stably. At the initial delivery, the focus will be on functionality rather than design, but experience with website design is certainly a big plus.

Who are you?

You have at least five years of experience with WordPress and have previously contributed to or independently developed complex member or job platforms. You are familiar with the mentioned plugins and know how to set up a scalable structure. In addition, you work in a structured way, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly about progress. You have experience working according to Agile/Scrum and are comfortable working in one- to two-week sprints.

Location: you live and work in Morocco. You work remotely or in a hybrid setting.

Start: as soon as possible, in consultation. We expect you to be available to consistently work on the project and meet the agreed deadlines.
