Industrial Engineering Manager - Apparel

Responsibilities

* Analyze and improve production processes to maximize efficiency in lingerie manufacturing
* Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
* Monitor and enhance line balancing for optimal resource utilization
* Calculate and update SMVs for all lingerie items based on accurate time studies
* Ensure accurate data entry in system records for cost estimation and target setting
* Assist in planning production capacity to meet order demands while maintaining quality
* Collaborate with the planning team to determine feasible delivery timelines
* Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production performance and recommend improvements
* Design effective workstation layouts to minimize operator fatigue and maximize productivity
* Work closely with the quality team to ensure production meets customer specifications
* Lead Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement projects to reduce non-productive time
* Train supervisors and operators on best practices and process improvements

Qualifications

* Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering
* 8+ years experience in apparel industry
* Excellent communication with strong negotiation and presentation skills
* With strong abilities in problem solving and conflict resolution
* Proficiency in English and French
