We are seeking an experienced Generator Mechanic to support the operation in Western Sahara, maintenance, and repair of diesel generator sets across project sites. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands‑on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to ensure uninterrupted power supply in challenging and remote environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carry out general, routine, and preventive maintenance on diesel generators

• Perform complete engine overhauls as required

• Install generators at designated locations in line with project and safety requirements

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical faults on generator systems

• Adjust and time fuel injection pumps accurately

• Set and adjust engine valves in the correct sequence to ensure optimal performance

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and overhauls of diesel generators

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on generator sets

• Conduct load testing, synchronisation, and commissioning activities

• Monitor generator performance and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports

• Respond to breakdowns and emergency call‑outs as required

• Coordinate with site teams to ensure uninterrupted power supply

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Generation field

• Minimum 4 years of experience as Generator Mechanic

• Knowledge in general electrical and plumbing works.

• Ability to communicate in English.

• Possession of valid driving license for light duty vehicles is preferable.
