🧾 Role Overview

We’re seeking a Freelance Finance Assistant to support our finance operations, with a focus on billing, reconciliation, and ensuring accurate data flow through our Property Management System (PMS).

This is a remote role ideal for someone who is organised, analytical, and fluent in both French and English, with experience in software or SaaS finance operations.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Support day-to-day finance operations related to the PMS

🔹 Ensure billing & revenue accuracy across systems

🔹 Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections

🔹 Reconcile data between PMS, accounting tools & banks

🔹 Assist in monthly reports, journal entries & revenue recognition

🔹 Investigate data discrepancies & resolve issues

🔹 Respond to finance queries (internal/external) within 24h

🔹 Collaborate with Tech, Product & Local Ops teams

🔹 Maintain finance documentation & improve processes

✅ Requirements

🎓 Finance/accounting experience in the software/SaaS industry

🔍 Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

⏱️ Able to meet deadlines and work independently (remote setup)

🌍 Fluent in French & English (spoken & written)

📊 Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets

💡 Familiar with tools like:

🧾 Xero / Pennylane (Accounting)

🏠 RentalReady / Guesty / Mews (PMS)

💳 Payhawk / Spendesk (Expenses)

🎧 Zendesk / Intercom (Support)

💬 Slack (Communication)

🌟 Bonus: Portuguese or Arabic is a plus
