We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer, Commercial, based in Casablanca.

Mirage Metrics builds AI systems for real operational work: construction, logistics, ports, industry, mining, energy, and critical infrastructure.

We need someone who can sit with a client, understand the technical and operational problem, ask sharp questions, translate messy workflows into a deployable system, and help turn that into revenue.

This is a field role.

You will work directly with CEOs, COOs, CIOs, technical directors, project teams, and operational managers across Morocco, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S.

The job is simple to describe and hard to do well:

• Understand complex client operations.

• Run technical discovery meetings.

• Identify the highest-value use cases.

• Work with our engineering team to scope pilots.

• Help build demos and deployment plans.

• Own follow-ups, proposals, and sales process.

• Stay close to the client until value is proven.

We are looking for someone who is technical enough to understand systems, data, workflows, APIs, documents, industrial processes, and AI capabilities, but commercial enough to earn trust in a room and move a deal forward.

Requirements:

• Strong engineering or technical background.

• Very strong communication skills in French and English. Arabic is a plus.

• Ability to speak with both engineers and executives.

• High agency, high standards, and strong judgment.

• Comfort with ambiguity, pressure, travel, and client-facing work.

• Ability to write clearly: emails, notes, proposals, scopes, meeting recaps.

• Interest in AI, industrial software, operations, and complex systems.

• Based in Casablanca or willing to be based there.

This is not for someone who wants a narrow desk job.

You will be in meetings, on client sites, in technical discussions, in proposal work, and in deployment planning. You will need to understand the client, push the work forward, and make sure things do not get lost between sales, engineering, and delivery.

The right person is probably an engineer who can sell, or a commercial person with real technical depth.
