Role Overview
We are seeking a sharp, highly strategic Venture Capital & Fundraising Intern for a 3-month period. The primary objective of this role is to work hand-in-hand with the founder to position Maamora for successful fundraising. You will lead the research, structuring, and application processes for international accelerators, incubators, and venture capital networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Applications: Identify, track, and draft winning applications for leading regional and global startup accelerators

• Investor Materials & Data Room Management: Assist in building and updating investor pitch decks, financial models, cap table simulations, and investment one-pagers.

• Deal Flow & Investor Research: Map out, profile, and target international business angels, VCs, and funds aligned with our current fundraising goals (including SAFE bridge rounds).

• Ecosystem Scouting: Identify and apply for strategic grants, funding competitions

• Pitch Practice & Messaging: Help refine our business narrative, making sure our traction, unit economics, and market opportunity are perfectly tailored to what investors look for.

What We Are Looking For

• Background: Student or recent graduate in Finance, Corporate Strategy, Business Administration, or an equivalent field with a deep passion for the venture capital ecosystem.

• The Narrative & Numbers Balance: You possess strong financial literacy (Google Sheets/Excel) but also write compelling, persuasive business copy for application essays.

• Startup & VC Savvy: You already know what terms like SAFE, Cap Table, ARR, and Dilution mean, or you are obsessed enough to learn them overnight.

• Proactive Researcher: You know how to dig through Crunchbase, LinkedIn, and ecosystem reports to find the right investment leads.

• Languages: Native/Excellent written English are mandatory, as the vast majority of application portals and international investor communications will be conducted in English.
