The Company

Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key mining client is hiring a commercially-minded Finance Business Partner to work across two key areas of the client's operations: their active mining drilling programme and their fast-growing mineral trading division. The full time role is based in Morocco.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Cash Flow

* Run the day-to-day accounts for both the drilling and trading sides of the business.
* Keep the cashflow model live and accurate.
* Work with the Company Secretary on capital calls and funding timelines.
* Handle the month-end close and reporting cycle.

Commercial Finance

* Monitor trading terms, pricing, FX movements, shipping costs, and margins.
* Understand how each contract affects cash flow, delivery, and currency exposure.
* Track SLAs for suppliers and buyers — especially when it comes to metals in motion.
* Support negotiations with solid pricing analysis and deal economics.

Mining Programme Oversight

* Stay close to drilling budgets and capex.
* Provide cost tracking and financial reporting that helps ops stay on course.
* As the mine scales, own the financial backbone of the development programme.

Compliance & Admin

* Ensure VAT, tax, and regulatory obligations are accurate and submitted on time.
* Manage offshore SPVs and ensure tax structuring remains compliant.
* Build relationships with banks and oversee FX flows and hedging exposure.

Qualifications

* A recognized professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA or similar), with 3–5 years’ experience.
* Strong grounding in management accounting, cash flow, and forecasting.
* Excellent Excel skills
* Experience in mining, commodities, trading, industrial or logistics settings.
* Ability to engage with senior leadership — you’ll be reporting at board level.
* Based in Morocco or open to relocating.
* Experience working with offshore structures or SPVs.
* Exposure to deal-making or contract negotiation.
* French or Arabic is a plus; fluent business English is non-negotiable.
