About the Role

M.Design is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fiber Network Engineer to join our engineering team in Tangier.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, drafting, and validation of FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks, combining strong AutoCAD expertise with telecom network design knowledge.

You will work on execution plans for civil infrastructure and telecom networks, ensuring that all designs are accurate, buildable, and compliant with technical standards.

This position requires someone who does not accept “good enough” — precision, structure, and quality come first in everything you deliver.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and validate FTTH networks according to technical standards (Comsof, Wyre design rules)
* Create and edit detailed execution and as-built plans in AutoCAD
* Translate survey and technical input into precise, buildable network designs
* Model underground utility networks and fiber infrastructure (routes, ducts, equipment layouts)
* Optimize network designs for efficiency, cost, and feasibility
* Produce and maintain design documentation and technical drawings
* Use GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS) to process and visualize network data
* Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and construction partners
* Ensure high accuracy in drawings and consistent use of layers, blocks, styles, and references
* Automate repetitive design tasks using AutoCAD scripting (AutoLISP, VBA, .NET)
* Support reporting and tracking of project progress
* Contribute to process improvements and data quality within projects

Requirements
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FTTH design, telecom engineering, or similar roles
* Advanced AutoCAD skills are mandatory (blocks, Xrefs, layouts, annotation systems, standards)
* Experience with Comsof Fiber Designer (HLD/LLD) is required
* Familiarity with GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS
* Knowledge of FTTH network architecture and infrastructure design
* Experience with Wyre design rules or similar frameworks is a strong advantage
* Experience with AutoCAD automation (AutoLISP, VBA, .NET) is a plus
* Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
* Ability to work independently with high responsibility
* Good communication skills
* Fluent in English; French or Arabic is a plus
