Internship @ Howdy Code is a carefully designed way for college students (and juniors) to gain the skills and hands-on experience they need to be successful in their careers and reflect actively on what they are learning throughout the experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work within modern WordPress site builders to design page layouts and templates

• Develop and maintain consistent branding

• Implement and optimize WordPress plugins to enhance site functionality

• Deploy designs in a variety of hosting environments

• Select and prepare creative assets, including imagery and text content

• Perform website and competitor analysis using various SEO tools

• Research and analyse keyword strategies

• Write meta tags and effective calls-to-action

• Execute link-building and link profile management activities including opening accounts, webmaster outreach, relationship building, etc.

• Advocate for SEO, ORM and Content Marketing Best Practices

• Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards

• Keep abreast of the latest algorithm changes, SEO tools, and techniques
