Role: Data & BI Trainee to support the design and development of a Business Intelligence Tool

* The trainee will work closely with the Strategy and Business Development team to:
* Organize, clean, and analyze macroeconomic and market data
* Build data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and analyses.
* Automate data collection or processing from public sources (news, datasets, reports...)
* Programming the tool for predictive analytics and strategic reports with regular updates
* Deliver key metrics and insights to help business stakeholders make informed decisions.
* Work in a small, collaborative team across the company.

Key responsibilities:

* Write codes to retrieve and analyze macroeconomic and market data from public and internal sources (World Bank, IMF, market reports…)
* Create scoring models and data visualizations
* Write scripts for automation (Python, Power Query…)
* Develop analytical solutions for business challenges using the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy.
* Identify and apply best practices in reporting and analytics: data quality, test design, validation, and documentation.
* Write high-quality code to retrieve and analyze data.
* Design pragmatic analyses and automated metrics that add value to the business.
* Perform in-depth and exploratory analyses to support decision-making.
* Support presentations and strategic reports

Profile:

* Final-year student in engineering, data science, computer science, or related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong knowledge of SQL
* Experience querying or modeling data using SQL and Excel
* Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Java, R…)
* Experience with BI tools (Tableau, AWS QuickSight, POWER BI, COGNOS…)
* Strong data presentation and storytelling skills
* Fluent English
