Job scope/summary Responsible for gathering, managing, analyzing and interpreting data - using statistical techniques - for the purpose of driving key programme strategy and decision-making

Job specifics/responsibilities: (specific day to day responsibilities and duties of the role)

  • Work closely with the Deployment lead and Programme Manager to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs (critical metrics and KPI;’s)

  • Proactively gather and analyze data to be able to respond to queries both internally and from stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain databases with data acquired via all relevant sources and where possible create scripts that would make the data evaluation process more flexible and scalable across data sets

  • Identify patterns and trends

  • Create and maintain reports that keep the team abreast of the current status

  • Provide relevant material in support of weekly executive read outs

  • Ensure that the stakeholders have all data and analysis that will allow it to make qualified strategic and business decisions.

Internal:

  • Programme Lead

  • Programme Manager

  • Deployment Lead

  • Automation Lead

  • Lean Lead

  • Change agents

External (to the Team/internal to DXC):

  • Business operational leads

  • L4/L5/L6 Managers

  • Lower level operation team members and nominated change agents

Education (degree) and professional experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Statistics preferred

  • 3+ years’ experience working within the field of Data management/Analytics

  • Experience and skills in the area of influencing and leading people

  • Experience with global multi-location customers (advantageous)

  • Experience in the Insurance industry (advantageous)

Other requirements: (language and certification requirements, different than formal education)

  • Fluent in written and spoken English (additional language/s an advantage but not a pre-requisite)

  • Good presentation skills

  • Confident communicator

  • Analytical skills

  • Understanding of cost and financial impacts

  • Willingness to travel (50% of time) and be away from home for periods of up to 4 weeks at a time

  • DXC business knowledge preferred

  • Expertise in Data Analysis

  • Strong SQL or Excel skills with a willingness to learn other tools

  • Strong skills in respect of PowerBI

  • Experience on Machine learning

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/DevOps Methodologies (advantageous)
