About the Role: Video Editor
We are looking for Junior Video Editors from Cameroon who want to work on diverse video projects.
As a Video Editor, you are responsible for the creation and production of high-quality videos for social media. You will be using your language skills and technical video editing abilities to edit and produce some of the biggest social video content, working with creators, community managers, and content strategists to ensure a consistent output of content on the pages you will manage.
Language Requirements:
- French fluency is required.
- English proficiency is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- USD $700/month, paid biweekly on the 15th and 30th of the month following the provision of the services.
- Bonus option of up to $300 based on performance, quarterly.

Main Assignments
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro to create dynamic and engaging videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
- Apply editorial understanding to enhance video production.
- Adapt YouTube content effectively for Facebook and other platforms.
- Test and launch new pages.
- Use data analysis and stay updated on social media trends to maximize video performance.
- Explore and implement new content formats for social media.
- Source B-roll footage to enhance video storytelling.
About You
- You understand how video algorithms work on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- You have at least 6 months of video editing experience, especially for social media platforms.
- You are passionate about social media video content and eager to grow in an ambitious project.
- Fluency in French is required.
- English proficiency (B2 or higher) is preferred.
- You perfectly master Adobe Premiere Pro.
- You are highly familiar with social media trends and platform-specific video formats.
- You are creative, persistent, curious, flexible, and hard-working.
